Both are free. Both keep your data local. The badge, archetype, and Core 12 breakdown are unlocked on either.

Chrome extension

A permanent toolbar button. Best if you want one-click access from any tab and don't want a browser tab dedicated to tracking.

In-browser tracker

No install. Opens at /app/. Best if you live in a browser tab anyway, or you're trying it before deciding.

Already tracking time elsewhere? Import a CSV and you'll see your archetype + badge in seconds — no need to start over.

Note: the extension and the in-browser tracker do not currently sync entries with each other, even when you sign in. Sign-in unlocks paid AI features (the Show Off Your Work Bundle) on either surface but tracking data stays local. To move data between them, use Settings → Export JSON / Import JSON.
