Terms of Service — Legal Ops Maestro
Effective date: 2026-05-11 Last updated: 2026-05-11
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Legal Ops Maestro’s Chrome extension, the website at legalopsmaestro.com, and any paid features (the “Services”). By installing the extension, creating an account, or purchasing a paid add-on, and in particular by clicking to accept these Terms at signup or checkout, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and AI Disclosure, each incorporated by reference.
1. Contracting Party
The Services are provided by OrchestrateIQ, LLC (d/b/a Legal Ops Maestro), an Illinois limited liability company, located at 643 N York St, Suite 70, Elmhurst, IL 60126 (“Legal Ops Maestro,” “we,” “us”).
2. Merchant of Record
Purchases of paid features are processed by Armitage Labs OÜ (d/b/a Creem), Telliskivi 57b/1, Tallinn 10412, Estonia, acting as our Merchant of Record and the contractual seller for the transaction. Creem is responsible for calculating, collecting, and remitting all applicable sales taxes, VAT, GST, and other indirect taxes based on your billing address.
Your purchase is therefore subject both to these Terms (which govern your use of the Services) and to Creem’s Buyer Terms and Creem’s Privacy Policy (which govern the payment transaction). In the event of a conflict between Creem’s Buyer Terms and these Terms with respect to payment, taxation, or refunds, Creem’s Buyer Terms prevail for those topics; for all other matters, these Terms prevail.
3. The Free Tracker (Chrome Extension and In-Browser Web App)
The free Legal Ops Maestro Chrome extension and the free in-browser web app at legalopsmaestro.com/app/ are provided as-is. You do not need an account to use them. We do not require payment to use the core tracking, badge, Core 12 mapping, onboarding, dashboard, CSV import, or export features. The free archetype-narrative AI feature and the free onboarding personalized-buttons AI feature are provided at no cost.
4. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
- For paid features, you must create an account using a valid email address. Authentication is passwordless — we use magic-link sign-in to your email; we do not store passwords.
- You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for all activity under your account unless caused by a security failure on our side.
- One account per person. Do not share sign-in links. If you suspect unauthorized access, email support@legalopsmaestro.com immediately and we will revoke active sessions.
5. Paid Add-On
The Show Off Your Work Bundle is the only paid product currently offered.
5.1 What’s included
Show Off Your Work Bundle ($9.99) — a one-time purchase that unlocks three AI-assisted career artifacts generated from your tracked Core 12 work:
- a polished impact narrative in your voice;
- resume-ready bullets;
- AI work-pattern insights describing how you spend your time.
Each artifact has a server-side regeneration budget (full and micro generations), shown in the Services at purchase time. Exceeding a budget does not refund the purchase or grant additional regenerations; purchase a second instance of the bundle if you need more.
Prices and features are shown in the Services at the time of purchase. We may change prices for future purchases at any time; existing purchases are honored at the price paid.
5.2 Legacy add-ons
Earlier products (Resume Pack, Portfolio Page, Show Your Work Pack, and the Orchestra Career Pack bundle) have been discontinued and are no longer offered for sale. Customers who hold legacy entitlements continue to have access to the AI features they purchased; the Portfolio Page service has been retired, and any unused Portfolio Page purchase is fully refundable on request to support@legalopsmaestro.com.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload unlawful content, or content that infringes the rights of others, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
- Attempt to disrupt, probe, or bypass any security control or rate limit, or attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access;
- Reverse-engineer, resell, sublicense, scrape at scale, or use the Services to train a competing model or build a competing product;
- Submit into AI features any of the content listed in Section 7 (Confidentiality of Legal Data);
- Use the Services to automate the practice of law, to evaluate or draft live client-matter content, to process data subject to HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, or equivalent sectoral regimes, or to generate output you will pass off as attorney-reviewed work product without independent verification;
- Initiate a chargeback without first contacting us and Creem in good faith to resolve the issue (see Section 9).
7. Confidentiality of Legal Data — You Must Not Submit Privileged or Client Material
Once you buy a paid product, any data you provide is sent through an LLM API under Zero Data Retention. The provider does not retain it and we do not log it, but you must ensure there is no confidential data in what you submit.
Text you submit into AI features is transmitted to third-party AI providers via Cloudflare AI Gateway. You must not submit:
- (a) any information subject to the attorney-client privilege, whether your own, your firm’s, or a client’s;
- (b) any attorney work product, including mental impressions, legal strategy, draft pleadings, or memoranda prepared in anticipation of litigation;
- (c) any information you are obliged to keep confidential under ABA Model Rule 1.6 (or the analogous rule of your licensing jurisdiction), including information relating to the representation of a client, regardless of whether the information is otherwise privileged;
- (d) personally identifiable information of clients, opposing parties, witnesses, or third parties, unless the information has been fully de-identified;
- (e) trade secrets, sealed court filings, grand jury material, data subject to a protective order, or material subject to export controls (ITAR/EAR);
- (f) any information whose disclosure would breach a non-disclosure agreement, professional duty, regulatory obligation, or court order.
Use hypothetical facts, sanitized examples, or your own non-confidential career narrative when describing matter context. If in doubt, do not submit. We display a persistent reminder next to AI-feature inputs and block obvious credential and identifier patterns at the gateway, but the burden of sanitizing matter content rests with you. You are solely responsible for ensuring your submissions comply with this Section, and you agree to indemnify OrchestrateIQ, LLC for any third-party claim arising from your breach of it, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. AI Features and Important Limits
- AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated and must be independently reviewed by a qualified human before reliance.
- The Services provide career-documentation tooling. They do not constitute legal advice, legal representation, employment endorsement, or any professional service. No attorney-client relationship is formed by your use of the Services.
- You remain responsible for any decision, filing, application, or downstream use of AI output.
- We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
All AI output is generated by third-party language models accessed through Cloudflare AI Gateway under Unified Billing with Zero Data Retention. Paid features route to Anthropic or OpenAI on standard API tiers (which do not train on API traffic); the free archetype-narrative feature runs on Cloudflare Workers AI. See our AI Disclosure for the full data-flow chain, providers, retention posture, and EU AI Act transparency statements.
9. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit, including your tracking data, notes, free-text highlights, and AI-generated outputs you approve. We do not claim a license to your content beyond what is technically required to deliver the AI feature you requested (transmission to our gateway and the upstream model provider, and return of the output to you). Output content is not retained on our servers; see Section 8 and the Privacy Policy.
10. Payments, Refunds, and Taxes
10.1 Pricing and taxes
Pricing is shown at checkout and may vary by jurisdiction. Creem, as Merchant of Record, calculates and collects all applicable taxes based on your billing address and remits them to the relevant authorities. Legal Ops Maestro does not separately invoice, collect, or remit sales taxes, VAT, or GST for end-user purchases.
10.2 30-day money-back guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on every paid add-on. If within 30 days of purchase you are not satisfied for any reason, email support@legalopsmaestro.com from the email address you used at checkout and request a refund. We will process the refund through Creem, and your paid access will be revoked on refund.
After the 30-day window, paid access is non-refundable except where required by law or where Creem independently determines a refund is required (see Section 10.4).
If you refund the Show Off Your Work Bundle, all three included AI-feature entitlements (polished impact narrative, resume bullets, work insights) are revoked simultaneously when the refund is processed.
10.3 EU / UK right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer resident in the EU or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of the contract being concluded, without giving any reason. Our 30-day money-back guarantee meets or exceeds this statutory right, so in practice you may exercise either.
To exercise a statutory right of withdrawal, follow the procedure in Creem’s Buyer Terms or email us at support@legalopsmaestro.com. On valid exercise, access to the Services will be terminated and the purchase price refunded.
10.4 Creem-initiated refunds
Creem may independently issue a refund where required by law, mandated by card schemes or regulators, caused by technical error or duplicate payment, or where fraud or abuse is suspected, as permitted by Creem’s Merchant Terms. Legal Ops Maestro is not liable for Creem-initiated refunds. If a Creem-initiated refund is issued, your paid access will be revoked.
10.5 Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback, please contact us at support@legalopsmaestro.com and Creem support in good faith so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
If you nevertheless initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, you agree that:
- We may immediately suspend or revoke your access to the Services pending resolution;
- If the chargeback is decided in your favor, your access will remain revoked;
- If the chargeback is decided in our favor, or if you withdraw it, we may, in our discretion, restore access and recover from you any chargeback fees, payment-processor fees, and reasonable costs incurred (including the per-dispute fee charged by Creem), as a debt due on demand;
- Cooperation in good faith with any request for evidence in a chargeback proceeding is required of both of us.
11. Intellectual Property
The Services, including the extension software, website design, archetype catalog, badge artwork, and documentation, are owned by OrchestrateIQ, LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly granted, no license or right is transferred to you. You may not redistribute, resell, or use our materials to train competing products.
The Core 12 framework is referenced as an industry-standard taxonomy for legal operations work; it is not our invention.
AI-generated content is not owned by us. You own the outputs generated for your account, subject to the model providers’ own terms. You are responsible for confirming that your use of AI output does not infringe third-party rights.
12. Service Availability
We operate on Cloudflare infrastructure. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance, Cloudflare outages, or upstream model-provider outages (Anthropic, OpenAI) may cause temporary disruption. We will make reasonable efforts to restore service promptly.
If a paid AI feature is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours, you may request a pro-rata refund via support@legalopsmaestro.com.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, security risk, fraud, chargeback or payment dispute, legal or regulatory compliance requirements, or other abuse of the Services. Where practical we will provide advance notice; where not practical (for example, active abuse or fraud), we may act immediately.
You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time via the Options page or by emailing support@legalopsmaestro.com. On termination, entitlements to future AI regenerations end; tracked data stored locally in your browser is unaffected.
14. Warranties Disclaimer
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. Except as expressly stated in these Terms, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that AI output will be accurate, that the Services will drive any particular career, employment, or business outcome, that tracking data is sufficient for any particular career or compliance purpose, or that the Services will meet your specific needs.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Legal Ops Maestro is not liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, special, incidental, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, or data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Legal Ops Maestro’s aggregate liability for all claims related to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid to Legal Ops Maestro (including through Creem) for the Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability, or (b) USD $100.
Nothing in this Section excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law, including EU and UK consumer protection law.
16. Dispute Resolution (US Buyers)
Please read this Section carefully. It affects your legal rights, including the right to a court trial and to participate in a class action.
If you are a resident of the United States, you and Legal Ops Maestro agree to resolve all disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services through individual binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures then in effect. The seat of arbitration is Chicago, Illinois. The arbitration will be conducted in English and decided by a single arbitrator. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this Section.
Class-action waiver. You and Legal Ops Maestro each agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of representative proceeding.
30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@legalopsmaestro.com with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out” within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, including your name and account email. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies, and either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.
17. Governing Law and Venue (Non-US Buyers and Non-Arbitrable Claims)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. For disputes not subject to arbitration under Section 16, and for disputes brought by non-US buyers, the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois (including the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division) have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-forum rights that apply under your local law. Nothing in this Section deprives an EU or UK consumer of the protection of mandatory rules of law in their country of residence.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date, and, where required, we will notify you (for example, by email or in-app banner). Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify OrchestrateIQ, LLC from claims arising out of (a) your misuse of AI output (e.g., publishing it as fact without verification), (b) your violation of Section 6 (Acceptable Use) or Section 7 (Confidentiality of Legal Data), or (c) your breach of these Terms.
20. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the AI Disclosure, and Creem’s Buyer Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Legal Ops Maestro regarding the Services.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
